What is Embodiment Coaching & Somatic Release?
Coaching is a partnership between a coach (in this case me) and a coachee (in this case you) that facilitates positive change in coacheeΒ΄s life. It provides clarity in complex situations and supports you to achieve desired goals. While most coaching approaches focus on the analytical mind, we will explore your questions and topics through gentle movement, posture, breathing, imagery and bodily awareness. When you work through the body, the change happens faster, is deeper, and lasts longer.
Somatic Release is a facilitation approach Iβve developed over years of personal movement practice. It focuses on deepening body awareness to identify where tension is stored in your body and using somatic tools to release it. By providing simple prompts, I will guide you to tune into your own body, cultivating a sense of ease. The ultimate goal of a Somatic Release practice is to turn your resistances into new possibilities, enabling you to feel more free.
Coaching vs Therapy: Coaching is a powerful tool for self-exploration, growth, and support in challenging times, but it is not a substitute for therapy. While therapy focuses on emotional and mental health at a clinical level, coaching is future-oriented, helping you develop new tools and resources to navigate life with more ease. These two approaches can complement each other beautifully. If I ever feel that your needs go beyond my expertise, I can recommend a trusted professional with a therapy background.
